Daniel secures prestigious Money Marketing award

We’re thrilled to share that Daniel was shortlisted for a prestigious Money Marketing award and went on to secure the win earlier this month. Being named Rising Adviser Star of the Year is an achievement that recognises financial planners that are making waves at their firm and are dedicated to professional development as they come up through the ranks.

Usually, the Money Marketing awards are accompanied by a glamorous ceremony. However, due to Covid-19 restrictions, the celebration was dialled back this year and a special broadcast streamed online. The shortlist was filled with strong candidates for the award, but Daniel’s business acumen and commitment to quality advice caught the judges’ attention and played a role in winning the top prize.

One of the judges commented: “He’s simply changed the firm from a traditional one to something next level.”

They added that his approach to financial planning had moved beyond ‘product flogging’ to understand behavioural biases and empathy with clients, as well as building future talent to ensure the long-term success of MDM Wealth. It’s an award that recognises the steps Daniel has already taken within the business and demonstrates that we’re supporting client goals and wellbeing even as we continue to grow.

Speaking about the award, Daniel said: “I was completely shocked and overwhelmed to be awarded this against very tough competition from some top quality planners. The award is a testament to the support received from Matthew Martin and also our amazing clients that entrust us with their financial life planning. It is a pleasure to do that every day.”
