Matthew Martin

Personally

Matthew is a family man; supporting and providing for them is extremely important to him.

In his spare time, Matthew likes to keep fit by cycling and training in the gym. He also loves to play golf and watch sport, including watching his sons play rugby.

 

Matthew began working in financial services in 1991 as a Financial Adviser at Prudential. He was promoted to Sales Manager in 1994 and ran a team of nine advisers for four years.

He then decided to return to his roots and went back to providing financial advice. Sometime later, he decided that he wanted to start his own firm. With the help of three other Prudential colleagues, Matthew set up Financial Design Limited in Kenilworth. The business grew and became very successful.

Matthew then moved on from Financial Design Limited to help his son, Dan Martin, begin MDM Wealth. In 2023, Matthew decided it was time to take a step back as he prepares for his own retirement and let Dan take over the managing director role.
